What is Al Etihad Credit Bureau?

Etihad Credit Bureau is a Federal Government organization that collects credit data, information and financial commitments from banks and financial institutions in order to provide accurate Credit Reports to individuals, financial institutions and companies in the UAE as allowed by the laws and regulations of the UAE.

How can I access my purchased Credit Reports and Credit Scores?
You can access all previously purchased Credit Reports and Credit Scores through the Etihad Credit Bureau app or by logging into Etihad Credit Bureau website and the credit report and score will be available in the purchase history.
How can I obtain my individual Credit Report and Credit Score?

To obtain your Credit Report and Credit Score, you can download the Etihad Credit Bureau CreditReport app in the App Store or Google Play Store or visit etihadbureau.ae

What is the price of a Credit Report/Score for Individuals?

For individual customers, the Credit Report is AED 84 including VAT, and the Credit Score is AED 10.50 including VAT.

How can I make sure my Credit information is protected and secure?

Information confidentiality and data protection is of utmost importance to the Etihad Credit Bureau. Information will be kept confidential as per the laws and regulations of the UAE.

Does Etihad Credit Bureau review or approve my loan, credit card or postpaid mobile service or device purchase application?

Etihad Credit Bureau does not play any role in reviewing, assessing or approving your application for credit facilities or products and services. The information in your credit report is used by banks, finance companies, telecommunication operators, water and electricity providers, courts, government entities, etc to support them in making their own decision to disburse credit facilities or provide products or services.

Do I need to submit any documents to Etihad Credit Bureau to update my information?

No, individual  does not require to submit any information. Etihad Credit Bureau collects the information directly from the Information Providers as per its mandate under the Federal Credit Information Law (6) of 2010 and its amendment in Federal Decree Law No. (8) of 2020.

How can I fix incorrect information appearing on my Credit Report?

The information in your Credit Report provided by various financial and nonfinancial institutions and other data providers. If you find any inaccuracies, Etihad Credit Bureau can assist you by contacting the relevant information provider. To request a data correction request, fill out the form on our website using the following link: etihadbureau.ae/correction.

In the case where the inaccuracies are by different information providers, we kindly request you to submit each data correction request separately.

What is the Consent?

The Consent is a signed approval by an individual or a company for lending institutions or any other entity authorized to obtain Credit Reports from the Etihad Credit Bureau on individuals or companies. This approval must be in writing.

What is the price of a Company Credit Report/Score?

For establishments, the Credit Report is AED 84 including VAT, and the Credit Score is AED 10.50 including VAT.

For companies, the Credit Report is AED 157.50 including VAT, and the Credit Score is AED 10.50 including VAT.

Correct Information on a Credit Report

What shall we do if the information provider rejected to correct information?
In case of such disagreement between individual/company and information provider regarding a data correction request please call our Contact Center on 800-BUREAU (800-287328) and have the relevant information ready to register a data correction dispute. Please note that Data Correction Disputes can be registered only if your Data Correction Request has been rejected by the related information provider.
How do I know if my request to correct information has been reflected in my credit report?

If you have raised a data correction request through Etihad Credit Bureau, then you will receive an email update as soon as the data is updated.

Please note, that Central Bank of UAE regulations specify that information providers are required to respond within 7 to 10 working days. However, if 10 days pass and you have not received an update, we suggest you follow up by replying to the email you received upon your request.
