We at CBD, take the topic of security very seriously. We’ve taken every possible measure to ensure the safety of your personal and banking details, and we also advise you use a secure password (no birthdays, that’s for sure). To make things easier, you can also use your fingerprint (for iPhones and compatible Android phones) as well as Face ID (for iPhone X).
From time to time the app will request your card PIN and send you a verification code by SMS to verify your identity. You can safely enter your PIN in the CBD app when required.

Effective 1 August 2024, your total monthly income must be above 5,000 AED to open a CBD current account
Effective 1 August 2024, the minimum account balance required to maintain in your CBD Current or Savings Account is 5,000 AED.
A monthly fee of AED 100 (excluding VAT) will apply to your CBD Current or Savings account if your salary transfer amount or average monthly balance is below AED 5,000.
