Commercial Bank of Dubai inaugurates its new branch in Village Mall

Commercial Bank of Dubai announced the opening of its new branch in the Village Mall in Abu Dhabi as part of its plan to expand in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and to provide a new type of banking services. Saeed Ahmed Ghobash, Chairman of the Board of Directors inaugurated the new branch in the presence of Chief Executive Officer, Peter Baltussen, and a group of the bank's customers, members of the senior management as well as branch and departments managers.

The new branch features advanced digital technologies that enable customers to interact with the bank in exciting new ways. The centerpiece of the Branch is a digital banking section equipped with innovative technologies that help staff better interact with their customers. These include launch pads, a Video Wall and a Connect Wall featuring touch screens, iPads and iPhones, which help staff access and display product and service information related to their customers easily and seamlessly.

On the occasion, Peter Baltussen said: “The launch of the Village Mall Branch is in line with CBD’s commitment to deliver extraordinary banking experiences and fits the “Innovation” roadmap of the bank with the launch earlier of our digital kiosk (the Spark) at the Higher Colleges of Technology campus and the launch of CBD’s Branch on Facebook.”

Baltussen also stressed that the opening of the new branch reflects the Bank’s commitment to be present in all emirates of the UAE and to meet the growing demand for banking services offered by the bank to its clients where the branch will fulfill the banking needs of individuals, corporates and government entities in Mussafah.

The Branch offers a wide range of conventional and Islamic banking products and services to its corporate, commercial and personal banking customers. It also hosts a special lounge for Al Dana Wealth Management clients and a dedicated area for ATM and Cash and Cheque deposits.
