Commercial Bank of Dubai opens its new Ras Al Khaimah branch
Commercial Bank of Dubai announced the opening of its latest branch in Ras Al Khaimah. H.H. Sheikh Ahmad bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone inaugurated the new CBD branch, in the presence of H.E Saeed Ahmed Ghobash, CBD Chairman of the Board and Peter Baltussen, Chief Executive Officer.
As part of its expansion plans across the UAE, the re-opening of the branch is aligned with CBD’s efforts to significantly grow both its commercial and personal banking businesses in 2015.
The new branch is strategically located on Al Qawasim Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah, and it features advanced digital technologies, with dedicated areas for customers to help them better interact with the branch employees. The Branch is also equipped with tablets to showcase the bank products and services, and provide the customers with access to the bank website. The branch offers services to both conventional and Islamic banking commercial and retail customers in addition to Al Dana VIP customers.
Peter Baltussen, Chief Executive Officer, CBD said: “The opening of our new branch is a reflection of the Bank’s commitment to support the economic revival witnessed across the UAE. The re-opening of our Ras-Al-Khaimah branch is aligned with CBD’s efforts to significantly grow its banking services to meet growing customer demands and offer the latest in technology to make banking more convenient for clients.”
This technology allows customers to effortlessly submit and process their requests online. The Quick Service Desk and the Get Connected Wall provide customers access to iPhones, iPads and Touch PCs.

Initiatives like this technologically advanced branch as well as others like our recently launched Facebook branch and our high-tech digital kiosks being rolled out later this year, demonstrate CBD’s commitment to bring innovation into the banking industry.”
