Commercial Bank of Dubai and Etisalat unveil Co-branded CBD Smiles Credit Card

Commercial Bank of Dubai, one of the leading banks in the UAE and Etisalat, the largest telecommunications provider in the region, today announced the unveiling of their new co-branded CBD Smiles Credit Card after signing a strategic partnership in April. The new card will be available in two variants - Visa Platinum and Visa Signature and will be UAE’s pre-eminent ‘Lifestyle’ credit card offering cardholders the fastest way to earn points on the award-winning Smiles platform.

CBD Smiles Credit Cards are packed with value-added benefits and offers. Customers applying for the CBD Smiles Signature Card will earn up to 50,000 points as welcome bonus, and up to 15,000 points as quarterly bonus, plus up to 16% back as points on all their spends through the card made on the Smiles app. In addition, customers will also get complimentary lounge access at over 1000 airports globally, free valet parking, cinema discounts, insurance benefits, 0% Balance Transfers and Easy Payment Plans on their purchases.

Smiles points can also be redeemed seamlessly via the Smiles mobile app for a wide range of discounts, deals and experiences across categories such as shopping, entertainment, travel, dining, wellness and bill payments at over 300+ partners. The Smiles app, previously available only for Etisalat customers, is now accessible to all UAE residents and visitors with any mobile number.
